I saw this too. The estimate of £200-£300 is a real turn-off but I'm still sitting on the fence about it, as opposed to hanging on the wall (couldn't resist). I think the set stands some chance of being real but the George and Paul look almost too neat. Maybe they did sign like this at some time but I don't think these are dated. You'd also expect at least some form on inscription by at least one Beatle and a little more signature overlap.
where is it up for sale out of interest. now that was very witty Pug.
There you go Michelle. With 13 watchers within a day or so the market could be saying "real":

Ha, your joke did make me laugh (!)
Yeah it looks good to my eye. Very neat. The neatness and 'easy on the eye' factor might be enough to set my alarm bells ringing, ordinarily. But the setting of the autograph book does seem so natural.
I’ve seen autograph books that had forged Beatles signatures. The forger would buy or obtain a period correct book with blank pages and then do the forged signatures on one of the blank pages. Never a dull moment.
Indeed. Slightly odd that the name in the front of the autograph book is not the same as the dedications inside. I guess there could be any number of reasons for that. Signatures do look good to my eye though...
I have purchased from this auction house before, for anyone thinking of bidding they dont accept ccards, always good to know
The point about the dedications is certainly a good one. I hadn't even spotted that.
I also think it odd that there are no other celebrity autographs in the book. It's like the owner of the book (or "Lisa", to whom most autographs are inscribed) wasn't interested in collecting celebrity autographs but hit the jackpot by getting all four Beatles signatures neatly aligned on one page. Normally, you'd expect to see at least a few other celebrity autographs in such a book.
+100
That's true - and much more common. However, it does happen. I have an autograph book signed by all four Beatles ... while multiple other pages are signed only by classmates of the original owner in 1963(!) A few months after she got lucky and met the Fab Four at a concert.
