Authenticity is Everything
JSA Certified Pat Saddleman "Gleason" Secretarial and Cast Set
$225 for this JSA certification and the most important signature (although not the rarest in vintage form) is a common secretarial by Patricia Saddleman, who worked for Jackie Gleason signing his fan mail in the 1950's. That is closer to 1958 or so. This certification was just last year...they really ought to know better. What a waste and now someone may well buy this incorrectly authenticated signature.

That LOA costs $225??? Yikes!
It always cracks me up to read the wording on these:
"It is our considered opinion that the signature(s) is/are genuine"
Total form letter content that can't even be bothered to make a singular or plural adjustment in describing what they have allegedly "authenticated".

The theory behind it may be that:
"it's old" + "it says Jackie Gleason" ..... "so it's real!"
According to their considered opinion, at least.

definitely has a female "flair" to the signature. When I see a mistake made by JSA, I usually look to see who signed it, and more often than not, this is the signature that shows up.

There is a current eBay sale that the seller is refreshingly honest and is selling a postcard as "Vintage Jackie Gleason signed photo - Signed by his Secretary Patricia Saddleman." Nothing is misleading at all in the description, and it is priced at $29.95. Of course, a less scrupulous buyer could attempt to sell it as a Gleason. This is the first sale of this type I have noticed.

Patricia Saddleman was a contestant on the January 8, 1957, To Tell the Truth. She mentioned in that when she was five years old, she was in three of the Our Gang Comedies! She also said she "read and answered" all Jackie Gleason's fan mail including his fan club. Not sure if you have that link somewhere but it is very interesting.
