Let's check out the below Ebay listing of a forged baseball of Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Frank Robinson and Carl Yastrzemski with a COA from Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA).
This is one listing on GFA that I had to post.

A little history about GFA.
Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) opened its doors in Sept. 2011 (that's over 14 years ago),and to this day (November 28, 2025) I have yet to observe an autograph paired with their COA that is actually authentic. Not one.
I'm on going to focus on the "Mickey Mantle" in this blog.
This is an obvious forgery which can be opined in a half-a-second as a forged Mickey Mantle baseball. This is a no-brainer forgery.
This was recently "certed" by Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators in November 2025.
A common and mass-produced forgery from the 1990's.
On the bottom of the photo of the baseball it reads "This is one of the finest Mickey Mantle signatures that I have ever seen."
Seriously!!!
If you look at the Ebay listing, the seller has posted photos of the various GFA "authentication breakdown" of each "autograph."
A 21-page synopsis of the authentication process for all four forgeries.
All of these years I've been asking the same question; "What does 'Forensics' have to do with opining autographs?"
Read the below GFA document.
For the "Mantle" it reads "Matches PSA, GFA and auction exemplars."
There are zero Mantle exemplars on the PSA website that show that particular-style Mantle. It is a common and blatant forgery.
Below is a link to PSA AutographFacts showing exemplars of various Mickey Mantle autographs:
https://www.psacard.com/autographfacts/baseball/mickey-mantle/29
Also, it reads Summary Of Forensic Findings.
What forensics did he employ?
Here is the GFA COA for the four "autographs."
Since Sept. 2011, I have observed thousands of Ebay listings that contained a Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators COA and I have yet to notice an authentic autograph paired with a COA from GFA.
I have scanned numerous other auction platforms that listed autographs with a COA from GFA, and never observed an authentic autograph with a COA from GFA.
Below is a link to a very revealing blog on GFA that I posted on January 3, 2018.

The additional detail in their certs does nothing to change the opinion
Yep, Terrier.
23 pages of BS.
