I have a Morrison autograph. Bought it 10 years ago. Anybody have any opinions about the authenticity of it?

I have compared it to known signatures on Doors stationary, checks, and Christies auctioned signatures and it matches up all the way down to the age of paper and ink. The paper looks 40 years old. Ball point pen. Would love to have someone authenticate it or give me a value of it. Thanks.

Answered my own question - no worries.

Here is a beauty I just got in but sold already.  The women who got it left a NY show, stopped for gas and in the van next to her was some of the band, the others were using the restroom.  This is classic Doors sigs.

The '68 tour program. Nice!!!

Awesome!

Rog, thanks. Can you upload large closeups?

I'm far from the greatest on Jim Morrison autographs but from what I do know I believe the one here and also the one being sold by christie's both appear to be forgeries in my opinion. The christie's one being far out.

Here's another Morrison beauty I just got in.  I can only think of 2 other signed photos I have seen of him.  This one is 4x8 and is on real photo paper.

What's that from?

Nice!

When was this signed?

WOW! That is awesome.

The photo was taken in December, 1969, and the photographer is Henry Diltz.

Good job...how did you find the photo? Just Google?

It is a common photo. This is actually a group shot with the others cropped out. There is a large series of photos of the Doors from this day.
