Is this mickey mantle autograph authentic

This ball comes with a COA from score board. It's on a Bobby Brown ball. I am just concerned with the M in Mickey it looks a little sloppy. I know sometimes autos using a pen could leave marks like that. Please leave comments to see if I should buy or not. Thanks002.JPG

Though I can't say with 100% certainty (maybe 98%?), it compares favoribly to the 5 balls I have including a PSA, JSA & UDA certed items. 1 is Scoreboard certed and the other is not certed. The "dropped" ink in those spots don't concern me as it was common for him to leave some ink and that pen looks like it was a gusher! It almost looks like it was signed yesterday!!! lol. I hope not. Curious to what the experts think?

This is a great clean piece....I agree with Fudd...this looks good...and in quite incredible shape...if this is authenticated there should be a premium on this because of what a great condition this piece is in

I just wanted to thank you for your feedback. PSA/DNA just updated my account and gave the ball & auto an overall grade of 8.5. My account didnt show the individual grades. I guess I have to wait until the ball comes in the mail. I thought It would get a 9 but I am still super happy. Thanks again.

This one is a little baffling to me. While it is really crisp and clean, the "Mi" appear to be not as flowing as you would see in a typical Mick signature.  Just an observation, I'm not saying its a forgery, but that concerns me a little.

JBS, there are plenty of attractive and authentic Mantle autographs on Ebay.   These days, authentic Mantle autographs on Ebay easily outnumber the forgeries by far.

Mantle forgeries are getting removed on a daily basis from what I can see.  I would like to know where all the bad stuff is.
