On December 2, Julien's Auctions is selling The Collection of Tompkins and Bush. The collection contains 465 lots of Michael Jackson memorabilia, 287 of them autographed.

Michael Bush and the late Dennis Tompkins were Michael Jackson's costume designers for 25 years, during Jackson's most successful period. They were the consignors of the signed Thriller jacket that Julien's sold for $1,800,000 in June 2011.

Almost all of the autographs in the Tompkins and Bush sale are a variation I'm not familiar with. I've only been looking at Jackson's autograph for a few years, though, and we have members here who have collected him for decades, so I'd appreciate your input and exemplars.

If you know Michael Jackson's autograph well, please look at a few images below from the auction and let me know what you think. Even better, browse the auction and upload any similar examples you have: http://www.julienslive.com/view-auctions/catalog/id/77/

Julien's is the world's premier auction house for Michael Jackson memorabilia, so they would know his autograph better than most of us. I'm just surprised I haven't seen this style before.

Thanks for your help.

I should note: My study does not include the actual Bush Tompkins auction.... just the ones previous to it.

It's unanimous.  Been on my back burner for a bit, too.  Just got around to uploading it... nervous energy today. :/

Thanks, Helen.  Yes, Thriller jacket style came first, then the scribbles.  It looks like what it looks like, doesn't it?  Though what matters ultimately is who profited.

unbelievable, Darren Julien and Martin Nolan released a book ?? $$$$

This ought to be interesting.  100 N Carolwood items were not to be associated with anything Michael Jackson when the items from that property were commissioned--the Estate put the kaboshy on that.  Wonder which "charity" (and friends) gets benefits from this.  Or if the Estate even knows anything about it.  Thanks for sending this in, will be tweeting this one.

Wow!!!

These SLUGS. Wonder who's writing the foreword on this one ?????

I am so sick and tired of the blood sucking sociopaths exploiting Michael Jackson!!

"Never before seen" photos of Neverland and Carolwood?!? OH REALLY.

If they use any photos they took while ruthlessly pillaging/ gutting Neverland, that had better be covered under the court ruling MJ WON against Rat Boy darren. ... (it's probably not though). That RAT is not to profit AT ALL from entering Michael's home without Michael's knowledge or consent!!

Greedy Vultures. Just when you think you've seen their lowest they slither even lower. I hope before the book can even be released in September that they meet with some just reward.

There is a thread here on autograph mag live asking if some of the long time MJ folks here or those who have studied MJ's sigs closely, would go there to help identify some odd MJ sigs.  I told them I'd post a link to it on this thread.  (I'm sorry if anyone has already posted it, I don't recall seeing it.)  http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/adrian-longden-micha...

Regarding the Carolwood Exploit.  Hell, everyone knew the only reason that pillaging/ sell off was happening.  Looking through Julien's Carolwood catalog, they did connect Michael specifically to this "sale".  It's in the fine print but it's certainly there.  Michael Jackson is mentioned by name.. as is the Estate of Michael Jackson.  In the same copyright disclaimer as has been inserted into each and every MJ sell off in which Julien and the "Estate" have been involved with since Michael's death.  Gotta protect their bottom line. $$$$$

Julien's Carolwood auction description: "...the famous Holmby Hills Estate..."  I wonder what Darren believes it's famous for?

2nd to last "lot" in that sale is the rug from under Michael Jackson's bed, upon which CPR was done by paramedics.  Last "lot" is the headboard from MJ's death bed.  Darren and those involved in this "sale" saw no problem with selling that headboard - only public outcry stopped them.  I'm not even sure,, does anybody know if the rug sold?

No need to mention MJ in auction descriptions.  Whole world knew what was going down.  Media was all over that one.  And Michael Jackson was sure as heck mentioned by media in connection with Julien-Carolwood sale.

I don't want to get upset with the wrong people.  These well meaning fans are being reeled in and used by scum flim-flam predators.  So THIS is one of Rat Boy Darren and Nolan's MJ fan "VIP events" for their "MJ family of clients".  Last 6 photos here :  http://www.juliensauctions.com/exhibitions/2011/100-north-carolwood...

And this SICKENING Julien $$$$ marketeering video here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78pCJ8VJb_0

Julien sure was using Michael Jackson's name and likeness to promote his sale, in every sleazy underhanded manipulative shameless exploitative predatory way he and Nolan could think of.

Oh.  And check out this "lot" from Julien's auction, Music Icons June 25, 2011... Rat Boy used Michael Jackson's name on this one.  Read the story "provenance".  Quite a series of events.  The one mailbox on the entire Beverly Hills sightseeing map that the tour bus "backs into".  No major dents to be seen from this "backing up".  Just wondering, is Carolwood Drive a cul–de–sac street?  Why are tour buses backing up?  Thought they would keep moving forward.

Im not giving up hope by any means, but at this point, and i hate to say it........... I think that the guilty parties are going to get away with it scott free. Did the ones who requested refunds ever get them???  And whats even worse, is that the other buyers of the MJ's in question either never found out about it, or they simply dont believe that the items could be fake. The MJ fans here put up the most valiant effort possible to stop this auction and continue to do so, but unfortunately the media just doesnt seem to care that much. When their are big enough players and money involved the truth is often turned into fiction. Or so it would appear.

Hi Carl,

Truth turned into fiction. You said that right. That is the society we live in today. Overrun by sociopaths - with a few radical greedy ones controlling the world. Govt-Corp-Media.

However I'm not giving up. We have to take back our world.

I've been trying to put together some things to post on your Adrian Longden thread... will post them as soon as I am able.

Thanks for doing that. :)  I knew you'd be on that after I saw them asking for help :)

Just did the best I could with uploading some examples on Carl's "Adrian Longden MJ examples" thread : http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/adrian-longden-micha...

Tried to show some MJ in-person signing videos...
