Al Pacino Private Signings

Would anyone be able to provide any information about Al Pacino private signings being sponsored by KLF Sports and/or Mounted Memories? The items include a PSA/DNA ITP. Thanks in advance.

They have a lot of different photos,mini movie posters etc and multiples at 399 a pop. If not authentic this would be a pretty big scandal. I cant find anything on mounted memories site that started this whole private signing thing! It would be disgraceful also for PSA because they are supposed to be witnessed by a PSA rep. I hope they are legitimate! It would be something if PSA was banned from Ebay! (I know with the money involved itll never happen)

Frankly this thread has drifted into pure paranoia if we're seriously considering a scandal on these ITP items. There is no evidence whatsoever to suggest something that outrageous. PSA even confirmed to Steve that they observed a private signing.

If it is from Mounted Memories or KLF, then I don't have an issue. I have an issue if something is being sold purely through Press Pass. If Press Pass got in on the signing and bought from the original signing, then also no problem. If press pass is claiming to be the originator or sole provider, then I have an issue.

If PSA has verified to Steve that these were indeed signed at a legitimate private signing and the numbers can be verifies on the certs, then I am good.

I think you need to check the start of the thread to see where they came from. I've purchased from PPC before, but just like everything else I always compare to exemplars before purchasing. They have a TON of inventory, but nothing of theirs I've ever been interested in (celebrity stuff) was suspect to me.

Their ITP ones clearly came from the same batch (the signing that occured in late 2012). I highly doubt PSA would issue ITP certificates if it weren't true.

Sorry, but I am thinking of buying one and knowing there are so many forgeries out there I cant help but be a little gun shy about purchasing a signature that is usually a circle with a squiggle. I thank you guys for your opinions. Ive never been burned and just want to be safe.

While it may have been the most poorly organized and advertised private signing of all time, it did in fact occur and all of the retailers who have them seem to be selling the same stock (same images, same signature style, etc.)

Oh, okay cool! That means there were two signings. It's not unusual for these bigger actors to see how much cash it makes in a short while and then do more. Take Harry Ford, for example. Where did you get the Feb info from? Have you learned anything else?

Sure seems to be a couple sellers that have a grip of ITP certs on sigs that look like they were signed in the street. Large volume sellers of course.
