Michael Jackson Signed Thriller LP: Real or Fake?

Hi All,

First of all would just like to say what a great forum,
some very interesting discussions. I'm just getting into collecting and only
have a very small collection so far so this is a great starting point!

I purchased a Michael Jackson autograph Thriller LP Flat
framed from Antiquities Of California back in 2009 and after reading some discussions
on some potential doubts with the store would like anyone to give me their
opinion. This wasn't cheap and after reading some of the reviews about
Antiquities of California would like to ask any collectors out there to give me
their own opinion on the authenticity.

I have actually visited the store when on vacation in SFO and this was one of my basis for buying from them as they seemed to be fairly reputable.

Would greatly appreciate anyone's time and assistance!

Uh... I hope I'm helping by saying what I thought was obvious...

1. It's pink. hahaha
2. It's signed super slow.
3. The characters in the writing are super super wrong- shape, slant, everything that could be wrong is wrong.
4. That star explosion on N. I love that star, but only amateur fakes sign with the MJ star.
5. It's not fluid at all.
6. The "ichae" and "ackso" are too legible, too curly, not "swinging" freely enough.
7. This wouldn't even be correct if it was being passed off as a teen/pre-teen MJ (ignore the 24 yr old MJ on the Thriller cover, lol)... it looks like it's signed by a child, but little MJ's sig didn't look like this either. Or this ugly.
8. Not even if MJ was signing with a broken hand. (Which he never had.)

Sorry. That was brutal of me, lol, but you asked, and that's what learning is about I suppose. Sorry again. :(
