.. Ted Williams stuff seems to be declining a lot in price?

When I started really collecting less than a year ago, Williams stuff was pretty high in terms of price. Now I see baseballs signed going for less than $200 regularly, 16x20 photos going for less than $100 and cuts going for as low as $35.

Not necessarily. Forgers will forge $5 autographs all day, in fact there's probably more "cheap" autograph forgeries out there than high dollar because they are more "under the radar"...

Not for collectors and legitimate dealers.

Prices have dropped.  Williams Bats used to be $1000 now $600.  Williams Jersey's used to be $2000+, now $1K-$1300.

Yeah definitely. I saw a Williams PSA bat go for $350 at auction, although the signature was kind of light. I have a feeling, like Tony said, his family really put out a lot of his stuff since his death. I'm still seeing lots of 10, 20, 30+ of the same photo sold at auction with Green Diamond certs.

Prices are down on a lot of items.  Ty Cobb letters used to be $1500, now $1000.  Maris prices are much lower...

Speaking of prices I met Arod a few times, have a bat signed and his childrens book.  He was one of the nicest guys in the game to approach regardless of whatever went on with him & his PEDs.  Are the prices at rock bottom for Arod stuff?  Is there any value at all left in these items?

No doubt Arod is fan friendly and much more so than Jeter. But, Jeter hasn't made the mistakes Arod has made and has the media on his side. Not making any excuses for Arod, but I can't help but think the deck was stacked against him from day one in NY.

Yes he is more fan friendly than anyone on the Yanks along with Rivera and they are both gone now.  The deck was prob stacked against him, but I must admit he was his own worst enemy.  I wasnt looking to sell the items, just wondering.  Just curious, who would you say is the most valubale autograph of all current MLB players?  Thanks

Off the top of my head... Ichiro maybe?
There's still value, but it won't bounce back. I could see it staying where it is or dropping a little.
Valuable would definitely be Jeter

Yeah I bought an awesome Ted Ball for $225 certed, clean and white.  One of the nicest in my collection..

I also have been eyeing some photos, but I wasnt paying over 200 for an 8x10.  Slowly but surely they started coming down.. Got an 8x10 with JSA for 150 shipped. unreal!! The LOA alone is 50 or more..

I have noticed that alot of the photos have started coming down for all of the big three but the baseballs seem to be holding steady or going up for Mantle and Dimaggio.. Williams is hit or miss with him..
