Caught 2 eBay sellers in blatant lies today about how they acquired their items
First is this pair of signed Michael Jordan 1985 shoes with asking price of 100k.
He said he's had them for years and that I'm an idiot if I think they sold for 400 a few weeks back

My bad. I was wrong...he picked them up for 385

Then this guy is selling these shoes he "thinks" Jordan wore even though they are too small. Says they've never been for sale publicly and were obtained by a friend of MJ...except I found the original listing where it says they were found in a storage locker lol

Why lie about that stuff when you can easily find out the truth?

its a direct proportion, the more potentially valuable the forgery, the bigger the lie.

Guy with the first shoes messaged back after I sent him the original listing and said that it must have been a scam cause he has always owned the shoes....when I asked how the "scammer" would have gotten pics of the item and COA since that listing was up first he said "don't contact me again" hahaha
Good job putting the liar up against the facts. I bet he feels like an idiot but that feeling is overpowered by the desire to scam money from someone.
That seller is a lying scumbag

Pathological liars believe their own lies.

If I pay $100K for a pair of sneakers there better be a deed to a nice house tucked inside one.

So.... Saw this jersey today. Looked familiar since last week we spoke on here about MJ white sox autos. Ask the seller if it was the same jersey. He said no

Just found this in my watch list

Lol what the hell?! Why be dishonest about buying it and selling it again? It's not like its bad.
Yep. petdoctordogcat got caught in a big fat lie.
They now say the misunderstood my question which was " is this the same jersey that was up a week or so ago?" Lol

Did you contact them back or did they say they saw it being brought up here?  Just curious.

They replied to the message I sent with the original ebay link.

He won the bid for 610 and then listed them again with a starting bid of 700???

The market on ebay just determined that 610 was as high as anyone was going, what makes him think a new bidding war would break out starting at 100 dollars more that he paid?
