Caught 2 eBay sellers in blatant lies today about how they acquired their items
First is this pair of signed Michael Jordan 1985 shoes with asking price of 100k.
He said he's had them for years and that I'm an idiot if I think they sold for 400 a few weeks back

My bad. I was wrong...he picked them up for 385

Then this guy is selling these shoes he "thinks" Jordan wore even though they are too small. Says they've never been for sale publicly and were obtained by a friend of MJ...except I found the original listing where it says they were found in a storage locker lol
Original listing

Why lie about that stuff when you can easily find out the truth?

That first guy selling shoes for 100k!! those are in awful condition first of all, but he has had 7 OFFERS!! I would love to know what the offers were.  I mean lets just say someone offered 10k, I would jump all over that.

One is mine I think. I offered him a quarter.

So I just looked up the Jordan shoes selling for 100k, Yes those are the same shoes JSA# Y20434 that sold for 385 on the listing you stated. No doubt about it.. Pretty nice profit hahaha

Ok. So I asked the guy selling the Jordans for 100K about the history of the shoes and this was his response to me:

"You must understand I get hundreds of these inquires each day so I must see if the person is actually interested. These shoes were actually rumored to be Michael Jordan's sons first pair of Jordans.. Not sure if that's true or not but either way the last 1985 Jordan signed by Jordan went for $120,000 and I will be willing to go down below my asking price if you have a reasonable offer. These shoes can only go up in value.. I talked to a collector today that claims they will quadruple in value after his death! These are the only known 1985 signed pair in existence.. Truly a 1 of a kind.

Was that the same response you got Carlos?
Lol!!!!!!! Nope but that's awesome he is an idiot
First off a quick google search will show dozens of signed 1985 MJ shoes - there's actually another pair of eBay and a game used pair signed went for 5k at Leland's last month
Second his sons weren't born in 85 lol
Third ask him for a link where any of Jordan's shoes went for 120k. The highest his shoes have gone was 86k (120k with buyers premium)

He has 2 sons one born in 88 and one in 90. By the time they were big enough to wear those shoes it would have been 2002 or later hahahaha.

WOW

I can't get over his reply to you haha
The last pair went for 120k??? Nope they went for 385 you idiot! You should know you bought them!!!

OK so I kept goin and these were the following replies I got from him.

That was a rumor I have heard about them.. But either way this is a one of a kind! I don't know where you would find the auction for those but I know they were game worn by MJ that's why I reasoned to take $20,000 off and would be willing to take more off if you wanna talk numbers!

- tmac1201412
I then asked him if I could talk to his collector friend who told him they were worth so much and he replied.
I would definitely do that but I don't know how to contact him! It was at a sneaker convention and I didn't escape with his number. I assure you that these shoes are actually not in poor condition.. Actually one of the most well kept 1985 J1 I've seen to this day.. OG paints, insoles, laces, etc. which is rare. Most OG 1s you see have been retouched that's what you're comparing the condition to!

Then I asked him where he got the shoes and this was the one that took the cake.
"They were given to me by a friend who was a big collector. He got them signed back in 85' when he was still a kid and he kept it in display ever since! Never touched..

- tmac1201412
Thats when I dropped the bomb about him buying them a few weeks ago and there was no way all of his other responses could have been true if this last response were true.
Got caught in his own web of lies.

The shoes are in horrible condition. and if his collector friend got them then HOW IN GODS NAME DID JORDANS SON HAVE THEM.

lord have mercy.

Im done with this one

I'd love to know what he replied to that or did he  go AWOL ?

No he said this

"They were given and signed by Jordan.. He received them from J that's how he got that rumor. And my boi died RIP. left them for me cuz he knew I loved kicks. If you had really done ur research you could figure out that was a fraud listing.. Used the pictures I sent him personally and listed them. And they also sold to a different buyer? How could they do that? If you're gonna dig.. Dig in further!

- tmac1201412"
He claims that the other listing was fraud. But I told him that wont fly because his listing started after the other listing ended. He has the same LOA and the previous listing and he is selling the same shoes he bought for 385.
If the last pair went for$120k how could this be the only pair in existence? What a goof.
