Those 2 Bruce items sold as a "buy it now" a couple of weeks ago for $1000 (for both). After passing the Roger E. test they are now on sale for $ 2500 EACH ! Of course it does come with the story how the autographs have been obtained in person or from a source ...... You know,  the usual stuff... There is no doubt in my mind that those are genuine and beautiful autographs. In fact, I was very tempted to make the original seller an offer. Do i think they will sell at this price ? Probably not... Not now anyway.

Those are just beautiful 80`s sigs from Bruce! I agree, $2500 a piece is probably too much, but will command a good amount of money. Interesting, the tour programme has a dedication from his then wife Julianne Phillips, and looks like she knew the person that got the autograph. (Gone to High School together or something like that) Bruce divorced Phillips the year after (87), after starting an affair with E Street member Patti Scialfa, they married in 1991.

Hey Trond ! Those 2 items stayed on Ebay.com for a few hours only before they got bought from the original seller. Apparently he won them from a Julianne Philips charity auction. The items were originally located in Portland, Oregon (where Julianne comes from) so it does make sense. Great pieces, especially the "Born in the USA" cover...

Not as good a percentage profit as he'd make if he shifts his Plant:

Trying to shift for $2500USD, purchased for $150USD. Your post got me investigating and I'm keeping a close eye on that seller. Haha.
Good luck to him, if it pays off for him then, at those margins, we could all learn a thing or two from him. :)

Geez his listings are an eyesore.  Lay off the caps lock.

Almost as eye-popping as the prices. Agreed, but to be fair, he's somehow converting those big letters into big cash.

I can`t believe that someone actually sold him these pieces for $1000... (for both)The seller couldn`t have had a clue what he was selling.  I would be very surprised if someone would pay $2500 for them though, they are not worth that much, but maybe in the range of $1000 for the BITUSA album, and $1500 for the tour programme can be a realistic estimate.

If someone pay the $2500, I can only see it as a very long-term investment, Bruce are 65 in September, but he is a better musician and entertainer than he has been ever before in his career right now. Been touring for 2 years and 2 months now, and took a break after the shows in Connecticut now. But with health and stamina like a 25-year old, he may last many years more,,lol. So no Jackson effect there for many years to go.

It is odd.  Hardcore fans/collectors (as well as dealers) are often pretty good at spotting the real deal, even without authentication - especially on premium examples.

Yeah, I misunderstood you there a minute, but see you reefer to the Plant piece with the $150. THAT would be crazy, if he gets $2500 for it!

Hey all, what would a Springsteen signed pick guard with his current sig be worth?

I've asked a few times but no ones answered. Thanks

probably at least a grand

I imagine for a standard pickguard you could pick one up for 4 to 600. I have seen a few authentic ones on ebay for that range, but it takes time to find one from someone asking an arm and a leg.

Update:
That Springstein signed LP sold for $2500 (19/6/14)

Not a bad profit considering the other piece is still to sell.
