Does anyone have any recommendations for getting a Christopher Lee autograph? Seems to be nothing legitimate on Ebay.

Thats an awesome find! I will keep it in mind. Only downfall to that one is it is matted. I'm not sure if it will get damaged if I were to remove it from the matte

Glad that you liked it!

I have bought several autographs from this dealer and always asked for him to remove the matt. It has never been any "damage" to the photo!

And if you ask for him to remove the matt, he sometimes accept a lower offer because the shipping (which is included) cost less if you "just" buy the photo...

Good luck!

I did some further research on here and people are saying that autographcollection.co.uk sells fakes :(

:(

Personally I think he may be one of those mixed bag dealers, since it seems he has gotten some signatures from a third party and is now re-selling them. For example, one of his Jackie Chan pieces comes from Jason Thanos which makes it genuine (also, you can tell it's genuine by looking at it).

So my conclusion is that it may be one of those places where you have to do your own research before purchasing anything, instead of just going by the reputation of the dealer alone.

Edit: Yeah, his inventory comes from other dealers. Here's what he says on the "about us" page of the site:

"Every signature has been carefully sourced from only the most reputable of autograph dealers/auction houses"

Everything that I have bought from him (for example a couple of Sean Connerys, Bono from U2 and Angus Young from AC/DC) have been 100% genuine.

But because he doesn´t get everything in-person, it´s better to be safe than sorry! So if interested of any of his autographs, start a discussion here at AML and get other opinions!!!

autographcollection.co.uk, does not sell fakes I have myself have got a lot of items from Steve and have been very happy with the service I have gotten from him yes Steve buys from others dealers and from auction houses this is not a bad thing all other dealers do the same with only a very small number in the UK that get all of there stock in-person like Jason Thanos, Mark Kirkup the only ones I know of that I have gotten from that get A list stars all the time in-person.

How reputable is Write Stuff Autographs?

I showed his George Lucas to the expert at Rebelscum, and he didn't like it. And the Sylvester Stallone I posted here at AML got mixed reviews.

But I have purchased some genuine pieces from him, you just have to do your own research as usual.

I'm thinking about going with this one. Opinions? Comes with a sticker on reverse side stating its from Christopher Lee's website witnessed by his Son in Law.
