Artifacts & Items from Jim Morrison's apartment at the Time Of His Death?
Hi, I'm interested to know,if any items that were in Jim Morrison's possession or apartment room at the time of his death have shown up in auction,i know of a reel of super 8 film that he and Pam Courson's vacation to Morocco was recently auctioned off.That was the film they watched about an hour or two before he died.There are even reports of some collector actually owning the bathtub in which he died,i find that one hard to believe. I do know the room in which he stayed at the time has undergone several renovations since 1971, this is a photo of the room, i have no clue as to when this photo was taken and even am skeptical if it is from 17 Rue Beautreillis Paris France.It seems any collectables involving the actual Death Of A celebrity is impossible to find. i guess most of these type artifacts belong to the Estates of the Deceased Celebrities.Like the Bed Marilyn Monroe died in,it must be worth 6 figures if it even exists. I would greatly appreciate any knowledge from any collector on these Hard to find Jim Morrison Items,and Marilyn Monroe items in her possession at her death. Thank You Ms.Paula Price

The owner of the flat in Paris did remove some items before the first renovations took place years after his death. I have never seem any items from the flat come up for sale, privately or in public auctions..

You should look into the "127 Fascination" box, which contained items that were in Jim Morrison's possession at the time of his death. The Super 8 film is from that box, as is the "Paris Journal" currently being offered by Recordmecca.

Those items they are selling at hysterical. My favorite is the "Doors dirt." Oh wait...there was also, for $5 a piece, the paint chips from the garage of where Jim lived. Yikes. The things people will buy.

thats not the bathroom from his apartment on reu beautreilis, this is from hotel medice where he stayed before moving to the beautreilis apartment i have a french documentaity that films inside the apartment and even shows the bathroom its hot agnes varda and gilles yperman in it they were friends of jim its caled last days its french,greetings a fan.

Can you post images of the Beautreilis apartment? I believe I viewed some in the past but would love to see them again.
Also, everyone knows 35 gal water heaters are much better for any type of art.

hi Chad , if you search le dernier jours jim morrison you wil find all the parts of the documentairy on youtube they show the apartment inside and outside ,it also has john densmore and pearl courson in it and it schows place des vosges a park just 300 meters from jim apartment were he used to wright poetry on one of the benches ,and also the nightclub where it's sayd in sam bennet's documentairy jim had died , i 've been to paris lots of times and al those places its only 300 kilometers from my home , i u ever get the chanse come to paris its verry nice.

yes Chad its sad that it has no subtitles, i looked for one with subs but cant find one sorry , come to paris ring the bell at beautrellis 17 and if your lucky they might let you in , if they do please send me pics of the inside lol!
