My opinion as an amateur is that it's ok. Would love input from others also.
Sorry, but I don't think it's real. I'm quite confident of that.
I'm quite confident that Steve is correct. The 'love' is not the way MJ would've signed it and the sig slants too far to the left.
I've been thinking about this one a lot actually. I was really torn when I said it may be ok. The "love" looks like when MJ signs hats. The left-ward slant isnt unheard of either, more common in hat signings tho. And I saw the funny H on Michael also... but maybe you guys are right. Maybe it's not just hand-slippage, maybe whoever did this studied MJ's hats too much. lol.
You know, one of these days, when we rule out some sig due to too many coincidences we'll actually rule out a real MJ where his hand actually did slip.. lol.
The more I study this one, the less I feel it's real, but I'm still not 100%. There's a few parts of the sig (not the love) that look really good. Hmm.. I guess we have to think of it as a whole. I should have thought that MJ would sign diff on paper than on a hat. IDK why I didnt consider that enough. I made a whole stink recently about how we have to consider the context of the sig not just the sig itself, and here I am stepping on my own words. Sorry. lol.
100% Fake
Michael Jackson forgeries are such a pain! I got stung by a Michael Jackson 'authentic' autograph, some while ago. Heck, I've been stung many times in this business but the way I see it, at least I've managed to pick up some authentic pieces along the way. I cringe at people who sell fakes!
