Upset when asking for opinions?

Good afternoon guys and gals, I have noticed that many members in here when ask for an opinion and the response is negative as to fake, a forge, not legit they sometimes get very upset and combative and try to debate and justify the flaws on their autographs.

I don't get if they need to argue why not just pay for a quick opinion and deal with the outcome.

A lot of new posters come on here showing off items and get upset to find the signed Beatles Album or Babe Ruth is actually a fake and worthless and get upset.

Collecting is emotional and a lot of people invest a lot of time and money getting items and until you know what you're looking for it can cause you to get upset.

This site is invaluable for helping avoid fakes.

Way to much time/money goes into autograph seeking or just buying online! I would skip school every yr when baseball was starting and ending!

This site is important because there is no University of Autograph degrees. How will anyone improve their knowledge and skills without the assistance from those who have "been there, done that". Great networks develop a better collecting experience which benefits us all.

Exactly! It should be about helping not scamming one another! I'd rather have 20 different opinions than one saying its fake or real!
