Has anyone ever dealt with GA as an authenticator? Are they a legitimate company?

Sorry, GFA.

I have never seen ONE authentic Mantle/DiMaggio/Williams/etc "certified" by them, if that answers your question...

Don't go near them they are one of the worst. They authentic some of the worst fakes. To be honest I think they are the seller as well
Thanks for the info.

You may as well start a fire and put your money onto it as get an item with a GFA Authentication

Yeah, it looked to good to be true.

you know what they say Bob..."if it looks too good to be true, it usually ALMOST ALWAYS is!"

I have also NEVER seen an authentic autograph of any kind that was accompanied by a GFA certificate. NEVER.

It is a scam. One that E-bay perpetuates knowingly and willingly. It is shameful. Not to say there might not be 1 real autograph with this certification, but that is not what it is used for. They are used by Legal moron scam artists who are too lazy to get a job or create something good, to deceive other Legal morons by separating them from their hard earned GLUE, IMHO.

They have taken the place of many other nimrods before them.

they are terrible.

Check out this thread to see how one of their founders ( Jackie Gomez) reacted to a discussion.  quite amusing:

And make sure you look at the two autographed balls that are the topic and see what you think.
