Here is a sickening scam. eBay seller just_hot_packs uses AUTHENTIC Derek Jeter signed jersey/ball photos on their eBay listings. However if you read the descriptions it says this:
"The picture in the auction is a stock photo but you can rest assure your jersey will be just as nice if not better."
A buyer on another site I frequent posted a picture of the "signed" jersey he received which is an OBVIOUS forgery. He says it came with Steiner's "COA"/Sticker. Clearly this seller has a stack of counterfeit Steiner COAs. I have attached the photo of the bogus "signed" jersey this guy received. (AML has not been working properly on my Internet recently so for some reason I cannot embed the image, my apologies)
To make matters worse, when you look at this clown's recent feedback, it seems he is doing this quite frequently:
The "Hot Packs", themselves are a scam, Chris and Ryan. He repacks the wrappers with junk and sells them like he bought them from the card companies that way. Sure you get a jersey or an autograph, but it will only be low-end crap he doesn't want.
