The Largest Mantle Piece Ive ever been able to Obtain!!So excited!!

Over the past week or so I picked up a few nice steals on some Pieces and made a decent sum off them.Well instead of being a sleazy flipper and pocketing the money I decided to put into my collection and found a beautiful 16x20 framed to 20x24 of Mick's 1962 SI cover.So i picked it up and can not wait to get it onto my wall..Also I am having a new frame and Matte being done for it so I am posting what I am getting for this beauty!!!

This is your item, and however you choose to frame it is up to you, that is first and foremost. As someone who has worked with a whole lot of Yankees pieces framed up, over the last decade....I might suggest an "away uniform" colored matte.

With the Mantle pic already showcasing the pinstripes large and in the foreground, adding pinstripes to the matte will make Mickey look like a house.

Maybe just do a mock up online before you drop a ton of money on pinstriped matting and framing on this particular piece?

All that being said.....that is a killer piece, congrats!

I got a buddy that does custom mattes an framing he does these nice mattes and at a 20x24 size its like 45 bucks.He is in texas if you were interested.I can get you contact info.
