I have concerns. It appears very slowly done... formation issues and a really odd "ms" at the end.

People Ted Williams signed this ball for me in person at the West Coast National Sports Memorabilia Show in July of 1992 in Pomona, CA.

Then why did you ask about it?! This "gotya" game nonsense is the precise reason why people are hesitant to offer opinions, that is, try to HELP others for FREE.

Assuming you did get it in person... ok... fine... it's an exhausted scrawl from a nearly 80 year old man at a show. It's perfectly reasonable to have "concerns" about this signature.

Why did you post it for opinions if Williams signed it for you himself?

How do we know he actually signed it for you in 1992? Do we have to simply believe what you said?

I'll be frank, Really. I would not believe Ted Williams signed your ball without photo proof. I am not as good on Williams as many others here, but it looks nowhere near genuine to me.

It could very well be real, Steve. It has some positive attributes... but the labored look through the D to W and the way the signature staggers to the end gave me pause and that why I said I had concerns about it. Not a slam dunk good or bad in my opinion.

I would assume Really is telling the truth and he got it in person. The issues could be explained by an almost 80 year old man in poor health grinding through it. I saw Ted at a show in the mid 90s and it wasn't pretty. The man was really struggling. 

Whatever. I'm over it. :-)

It was amazing Ted Williams got out of a limo and walked into the hall on the LA County fairgrounds, you know like John Wayne sat down and started signing items. You are right a picture of Ted and I together would make this autograph more complete. Steve Z. Is right a man in his 80s may have lost the edge of crisply signing his name on a baseball. I did ask Ted if I could shake his hand and he did for no charge.
