Maryland Man Admits to 2.5 Million Dollar Fake Autograph Scheme

Another one bites the dust. =)

Love how this article starts out: "Selling fake autographs online is easy...until you get caught."

This criminal (Joshua Shores) bought fake jerseys from China, scribbled forgeries on them, and sold them with phony "COAs", all of which were made-up "autograph companies". Imagine that. This exact type of "scam" has been brought up here thousands of times.

This is just the tip of the iceberg folks. As we all know, there are many, many more "forgery rings" thriving off of this same type of scam. This type of publicity is exactly what we need to help clean up the hobby. It is all about AWARENESS

I cannot wait for the day that the GA/GFA crap gets brought down. They must be trembling...
