How cautious are you when buying from fellow collectors?

How much trust do we put into our fellow collectors when buying, have they captured our trust, that we don't have a tpa check the signatures out before we purchase.

Esp ip collector's.

I'm not complaining, it's a positive from my end, how about yourself.

My first big R&R purchase was an expensive fake from American Royal Arts. One of the biggest memorabilia dealers at the time, had photo proof. I've come a long way since then. Steve recommended I come here, I've learned a lot but still have much to learn. I've bought two pieces from members I've been friends with here for years and trust and respect both. Still I ran by Epperson and he loved both, like I expected. So that said, I don't trust anyone 100% after what I went through. But I trust my fellow collectors here that I've known a long time, over anyone else.
