Hi guys. New to the forum. Recently picked up an item that I've sought for quite some time. I don't want to tell you where I picked it up from as it may skew your opinion. Love to see if you feel like this is the real deal.

It is on a Bobby Brown baseball, if that helps. Thanks!

authentic

Thanks so much for the response! I've been researching Ted baseballs for years. I'm a huge fan.

A little back story: I bought this at the Red Sox game in Fort Myers last week from a memorabilia stand inside the game. It turns out the folks selling the stuff (Red Sox, Pats, etc) were with the actual Ted Williams Foundation. I felt great about it.

My question is whether or not you would pursue a PSA authentication, if you were me? I have absolutely zero intention of selling the baseball, but the only COA it came with was from the Foundation. Thank you again for your thoughts.
I would not waste my money on psa cert. Especially if you are keeping the ball. If you decide to sell it then you can consider it but the foundation cert should really be more than adequate.
I'm not getting rid of the ball. That's for sure. It's my prized possession. It'd be tough to find a bigger Ted fan than myself.

I appreciate your thoughts on it. From the comments and posts I've read, you certainly seem to know your stuff so I value your opinion. I guess the PSA cert was for my own piece of mind, but the signature seems to check all of the boxes. And I'm glad you seem to think it's legit. Plus I obviously feel great about buying it from the charity/museum that Ted helped establish...
Oh and From what I've read, it's all about the "d", "a", and connection from the d to the w when it comes to authentic Ted signatures. I'm sure that's all old news to you though.
Isn't that a beautiful park? Much nicer than city of palms. I've played in both places. Jet blue is like being in Fenway.
Oh man. It's so nice. I got a chance to go to City of Palms during the final season. Been to JB three times now. I can spend all day just walking around the back fields.

You've played there? That's awesome. During college or professionally?
Very nice, authentic signature.
Steve - thanks so much for taking the time to respond. It was a once in a lifetime purchase for me. Means a lot. Thanks again for your thoughts. Gives me some peace of mind.

The real deal; nice!

Thanks Travis for the comment man!
