Hello everyone, I'm looking at these Bowie autographs on ebay, and after getting a fake from Joe Hendrix, I want to get some better opinions on these...many thanks!

No to all 4. Hard staccato "No!" (angry at forgeries, not you) :)

Same seller?

Eric

Different sellers..though they appear similar in nature. I thought I had a good eye, but I guess not. The one with Iman struck me as real due to her signature mostly..it's pretty unique in it's direction..but.

Perhaps not so much your eye as the notion that almost "everything" out there on eBay to see is fake.

Here is one of mine that those are trying to look like (click to see full image):

Thanks Eric, appreciated.

Hi I think I have seen this on ebay, I have wrote to them about the amount of forgeries on there but they never write back, Red flag!

I agree. All bad.

Hi Thomas, welcome to the forum.

Did you report Joe Hendrix to eBay by any chance?  I've been exposing this guy for awhile now, and eBay doesn't seem to do too much about my "report item" messages.

As a good rule of thumb pics supposedly signed by Bowie in the last decade or so are probably fake. He was just too reclusive. Genuine autographs in this time period tend to come from official signings such as the Station to Station or Speed of Life signed books. A few signed lithos from Bowienet etc.

Agree. Other than the above and things like those Man Who Fell to Earth cards from 2013 you see very, very little from the last decade or so. 60's/70's can be quite costly, 80's are going to be on something you either love or hate but are much more plentiful in comparison, and the 90's are most plentiful it appears, and this period offer a wide variety of types of items to choose from. After 2000-2004 things start getting thin.

Eric

Yeh The Man Who Fell to Earth Cards are pretty cool
I don't claim to be an expert authenticator and any music autograph I buy I'd get a quick opinion from Epperson. However I'd say this Bowie on ebay is authentic and currently going for a song

Hello,

I don't like that Blue Jean and it is not looking quite 1986 to me (it seems a bit odd and hesitant), but the one not for sale but shown from 1995 looks just fine. This has been listed and listed several times w/o a sale for some reason. I recall the story and the poster.
