I'm constantly seeing well-regarded sellers with J.J. autographs in my price range (which is really saying a lot).
Do people not like the movies? Is he just that easy to get? What's the deal here? What am I missing?

JJ rarely says no, and he is the type of guy who signs multiple items. Add that to the fact that he is in public a lot and flying all over the place....a guy who is regularly accessible and friendly in Hollywood is pretty rare.
Lots of hardcore SW fans tend to want multiples of Ford or Lucas or John Williams, but not too many seem to want multiples of JJ.
At the moment the supply far outweighs the demand.
Reminds me of Bob Feller. He signed at card shows for 30 years and loved to mingle with fans at Cleveland games.
He's the only deceased hall of famer I know of where you can still consistently find autographed balls for $50. He signed a million of them.
George Kell too (unless that's changed lately).
I wouldn't wait too long if you see one on something you really like for a great price. You never know when these guys tire of getting bothered. He is one of the best signers though, I would be surprised to hear he said no to anybody at the moment. He racks them up for those guys waiting at the airport with stacks of pictures. But you never know!
Confluence of things:
1) As stated by Pete, Abrams signs a ton!
2) He seems to be the king of rebooted ideas.
3) He may actually LOSE popularity after SW:Ep7. (Some view the movie as a plot steal from ANH, and ST fans might feel slighted that he went to the "other side.")
I can't seem to get "edit" to work properly (software issue on my end), but I thought up another reason: youth. He's 49 or 50 years old. Even in a "best case" scenario, he's Stan Lee, and we all know what Stan Lee's autograph has done in terms of value appreciation. Abrams' auto is likely affordable because supply greatly outpaces demand and likely will continue to do so.
