To me this looks good but I would like to get other opinions.

Perhaps PSA/DNA was on the line on the autograph and saw the $101 price and thought the deal didn't smell right. I'm still not comfortable with it, but Roger knows Lennon a lot better than I do.

What link did you give them?

didnt Gio send for his own opinion

I guess so, I thought you said Roger had seen this a few times already when it was $900.

Eric

Yes. I didn't know he did. rockshopngavel said the got an online opinion from Roger.

Smart move

its actually presented as a 1967 signing.

Hey, that's right - summer 1967. How optimal. Interesting. Many think it 1969-1972, but here are the relevant portions of the thread:

"...sold twice in the US this last couple of months,it originally came with a rare photo of john in his garden taken at the time of signing summer of 1967 but it looks like its got lost or been kept along the way..." - Rogers Wright

"...SIGNED ON THE REAR SLEEVE IN BLACK PEN DURING THE SUMMER OF 1967 AT JOHNS HOUSE KENWOOD IN WEYBRIDGE SURREY, COMES WITH A PHOTO OF JOHN TAKEN SAT AROUND THE POOL AT KENWOOD DRAWING OR PAINTING HE LOOKS RELAXED MOST LIKELY IN THE SUMMER OF 1967 TAKEN AT THE TIME THE LP WAS SIGNED , I WILL INCLUDE A LETTER IN THE FORM OF E MAIL IN WHICH THE ORIGINAL SELLER STATES THAT HIS FRIEND WENT TO JOHNS HOME TWICE IN 1967/1968 ON THE VISITS HE GOT A SGT PEPPERS LP AND THIS LP SIGNED BY JOHN HE ALSO TOOK PHOTOS OF JOHN AND CYNTHIA RELAXING AT THE HOUSE ONE OF JOHN IS INCLUDED AS A MODERN REPRINT HE ALSO STATES THAT ONE OF THE PHOTOS JOHN LIKED SO MUCH HE PUT IT ON THE WALL WHERE HE SAT IN THE HOUSE..." - BallroomDays67

That album...1967 was in great shape? Such a treasured item signed, along with a Pepper, is allowed to deteriorate? But the photo(s)of him seem to have been in good shape? Can happen, but...

Eric

This is what a signature like yours should look like:

if it was mine id sell it now for $900 on e bay with Rogers quick opinion as back up pocket the $800 and buy something better its sold 3 or 4 times quickly because everyones seen a lennon signed beatles lp for $900 and they thought of fixing it up or masking it or doing some clever framing as we have discussed here but each buyer has realised its too far gone to ever be a great item ,it sold for $900 3 times it should do again

This is the signed White Album that Tracks sold in 2013 for roughly $190,000. Very similar to the one above. The image is big...click to enlarge:
