I am hoping we might have a few Paul Newman experts out there. Looking at all PSA/JSA authenticated Newman signatures that I can find, there are many similarities, but Newman signatures seem to be quite different, especially the design of the N in Newman. One thing I did find very consistent, was the Best Wishes, it matches up exactly with all that I found. Anyway, any opinion are welcome. Thanks in advance.
Here are some scans I have seen all sell as genuine, or almost sell - 3/4 of my scans below are actually from answering questions here.
Best wishes,
Eric
Einstein facsimile letter 1948:
Art Carney vintage facsimile photo postcard, seen in blue and black.
Judy Garland standard Autopen Fan Club C. 1963, encountered in blue and black usually 5x7. With a better scan ( I can't find it right now) the very jagged curves are obvious.
I know fully believe this signature to be a fake. I found three signed exactly the same, all three showing the same added lines under the signature and all three with an ink dot between the two lines. Two of the three are from the same seller. he states that these were signed on Whittier Ave in California, one in 2004 and one in 2005. The seller is from Ireland (Mac the collector). The third I found is exactly the same and although a different user name, also from Ireland.
My conclusion, it must be an autopen. Even if it were an ink pen that didn't write well, I seriously doubt that we would see such and even placement of all these dots.
