What were Pawn stars, Steve grads and Brian sobrero reason for leaving psa dna?

Did any of these two give a reason why they departed Psa dna and join with Beckett?

One would think it would be over making more money, rather than providing an expert service.

I work for peanuts!
PSA didn't open that door, Steve.

Beckett Grading Services (BGS) and James Spence Authentication (JSA) are pleased to offer customers an autograph authentication/card grading service. ... This combination of services provides hobbyists with the highest levels of expertise in both the grading and autograph authentication.

So what happen to JSA/Beckett ????

Good question.
I think it's safe to assume Beckett's stabbing partnership with JSA is a thing of the past.

As I understand it, they want to be owners, not just employees.

Steve would have been on a great wicket, being the head of psa dna. Psa dna turned over 5 or 6 million annually, big business!!

I didn't even know Beckett still existed.

He does the encapsulating, you see members get it done on the forum. I don't know who he really is another tpa.

I heard that chum lee almost took over steves job on pawn stars! Im just joking.

As in the public eye as Steve is, he is a private guy. His motivations for leaving PSA DNA at this time will likely never be fully known, but he obviously knows what he is doing.

I consider Steve a friend and I certainly wouldn't ask him why.

I will however state unequivocally, that PSA and JSA have blown their chances. There is no one working in the authentication business who can even come close to Steve's percentages on celebrity autographs. PSA & JSA will do ok sticking with sports memorabilia, but they might as well just close the doors on even trying to continue celebrity authentication.

I have never felt even remotely comfortable with JSA handling celebrity graphs, and JD Bardwell is the best modern celeb dealer in the business.....if they actually consulted with their consultant....they might have had a chance.

PSA DNA was another story....you could count on Steve at the very least, reviewing the work of others and signing off on PSA Certs.

Beckett has been synonymous with sports for decades......with the addition of Mr. Grad to their authentication team.....they will likely be the only 3rd party celebrity authenticator that you can have some faith in. Being able to cover Celebrity, Sports and Music as well as all the other fields Steve has proven his abilities in.....how could you choose another company now?

Just my 2 cents.

Lets see if rr auctions include Beckett in their authentication service now.
