Not sure I am following you on that one. You said the autograph approved by PSA/DNA was approved this past March, but by James Spence?
Secondly, the way you say, "JSA got one right", I assume you generally do not trust them?
Just to clarify, I was referring more to sports autographs, as that is what I collect/deal.
I've used JSA for several years to authenicate my large football HOF autograph collection and I've never had an issue with anything. I've had several items that I had purchased over the years that failed authenication which I expected.
I have nothing but good things to say about them and their services. I've had a few items that were signed in front of me that others had marked as not authentic where they were authenicated by JSA. They are highly regarded in the sports authenication industry. Yes, they are human and I'm sure they miss a few as well but no one is perfect.
I had a Mickey Mantle ball that I had purchased several years ago and it did not pass authenication. They told me who the person was that had forged the signature and where it had come from. At the time I didn't have the information as to where I purchased it but I did find it and they were absolutely correct.

Wow. Can you share this -- even if it's with me privately? Other than Greg Marino, I'd like to know who the known forgers are and document their styles. Do you have scans of the fakes?
