13th Authentic Jackie Gleason SP I have ever seen. The others are all shown here.

Hi All,

I have finally located an obviously authentic signed photograph of Jackie Gleason. He is so very rare. Incredibly underrated. Signed vintage cuts are the norm; signed photographs, in any role or straight portrait, are just not around. The last I saw was a 1962 Ektachrome 16x20 color signed mounted photo - and I sold it. This is C. 1950. Only authentic signed photo I've seen between 1945 and 1962.

Enjoy!

Happy to :)

Very nice

Unplanned - but here are scans of most of what I have seen over the years. There a number of examples of the first type shown so I picked a representation of them but all are insanely rare. The early first type can sell for $1200-$1500 at auction. The otherss are difficult to gauge as there are so few an no real track record to look at. He can be located on album pages and such - even that isn't easy. But signed photographs are very, very rare. I've seen more contracts!

And the one everbody wants. Many think they do but they have the Spears secretrial. I've seen only this one

And here is a true candid - C.1945:

Additions welcome - even if you have just a scan.

Here is the common certified bus photo with "Gleason" by PA Sydell Spear (1970-1987):

This is a pure forgery, for sale with an appraisal value of $4,000. The price is far closer than the sigs!

I can't wait to receive this!

Beautiful !! I want to get an autograph like this too

Thank you. Keep an eye on the Buy/Sell as I will be selling off my set of cast sigatures including the Gleason PC shown above. Waiting for photos would be a LONG wait. Gleason is tough in any form, vintage Joyce Randolph nearly impossible.

Incredible and very rare piece, congratulations Eric!

Thank you! It means a lot coming from you. I'm sure it's been trimmed but that is A-OK with me as I've never seen another in any condition!
