Hello everyone,

While looking around on ebay, i just noticed this item:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/john-lennon-autographed-record-vinyl-lp-/17...

The seller is rareandtheuniqueantique. and this is his first and only item for sale.

Right now it has 7 bids and the price is at 41 dollars. Now i am the first to admit that i am not near as knowledgeable on John Lennon as others, but this just looks awful. I think that it definetly is a fake, and a poor one at that, but maybe others will chime in. I really cant believe people are bidding on this.

Nice find, Tom.  This "Ring Of Scammers" is getting larger and larger.

Add catsndogsfriendsorg to the list.

impactworldantiques

Could probably do this all day but I won't.

this has to be a huge ring of thugs! all items sold, not pulled by ebay. people who report this have no power, and the ones who do have power are not threatened so they don't report it!

this is not a ring. this is one scamer with 4 different user id's. putting up different locations where there items are located. los angels, chicago, new york city, and dallas.  all with same format. and the same lennon style forgery.

The ridiculous Elvis album pulled a few hours ago from seller curiositysandotherauthenticcollectibles has already been relisted under the name impactingtheworld

http://www.ebay.com/itm/elvis-signed-record-/170973530917?pt=LH_Def...

They sell with absolute impunity. Every piece of garbage laying around their house is turned into a collectors item. They don't even bother selling items that correspond with the alleged signature. Elvis signs a My Fair Lady album, John Lennon signs a cookie tray, Taylor Swift signs a Mickey Mouse t-shirt. That baseball cap under the bed? Oh yeah, Justin Bieber owned that. And they all sell.

How about a saw from the Andrea Doria?

A glass dish used as a prop in Star Wars?

Absolutely incredible.

what the h@ll is going on!

Removed again.

Damn scammer!!!!

I should start a new thread on this seller and insert their EBay IDs in the title so they show up on Google searches and then contact the dopey buyers.

great idea, do you have all his id's? i thought only 4 but he has at least 5 or 6.

I think I have four of them.  I will do it tomorrow as I am certain "they" will continue to re-list their crap.

Did you see that saw from the Andrea Doria that sold for .99 cents with Free Shipping.  Ridiculous!!!

The distinguished list of names so far is:

  • curiositysandotherauthenticcollectibles
  • rareandtheuniqueantique
  • texascheercoach4herteam
  • impactingtheworld
  • catsndogsfriendsorg
  • impactworldantiques

Circumstantially, I also believe jwantitihaveit to be the same seller, but I'm not 100% certain like I am with the above names. In any event, I'm not afraid to mention them because they've had bogus items removed by ebay also.

There was also this listing which has the seller name truncated. The item was removed so I couldn't get the seller's whole name and nothing turned up in a search for partial name, so perhaps the account was banned. It's the same type of garbage with the same style of listing.

Check out the feedback this person leaves for the suckers buyers. It warms the heart.

Here's some priceless feedback left for impactingtheworld. I'd love to see the COA they include, just for a laugh.

Chris, if you start another thread, feel free to move any or all of this over.

Nice work, Tom.

thank you, tom
