Adding Chevy Chase to my 45ish Year Old SNL Vinyl Jacket with Belushi, Radner etc...

Just wondering everyones thoughts on adding Chevy to this vintage item. I asked this previously about a mail-in event and decided it was way too risky to get it done by mail. I have an opportunity to meet Chevy in person next month for about $200 I could get my item signed at his table. I really want to get this done, probably cover up Murray's signature with a sticky note with an arrow pointing to the area for Chevy to sign. (Trying to bypass any potential animosity with Murray signing so close to Chevy's picture)

If I do decide to get this done, what would be the best pen to use to try and match the others? Any other tips would be very welcome. Ill need to purchase tickets by tomorrow to save a little money. Hoping I can make my decision before then.

That turned out great. Chevy seemed very happy as well.

Yes this was a way more pleasant experience than I thought it would be. My daughter won't stop talking about Chevy to everyone. Im glad she got to experience that but hope I don't turn her into a neurotic autograph collector like her dad lol

Awesome!  I've seen curtin listed as someone available to come and speak in front of groups.  I wonder if you would have any luck emailing those companies to ask if she does any signings?

This is how pathetic I am when it comes to autographs. I had a bunch of great things happen in my life the last few days, but you getting this signed, with no problems -- is my favorite moment from this weekend. BRAVO.

Now please, STOP worrying about authenticating. You have the Belushi and Gilda authenticated. Any signatures after (for example, I'd go for writers on the back, or Lorne Michaels)...those just make the item better, and NOBODY will ever question the authenticity of future signatures. Again, congrats!

Thats really nice of you to say and glad I can share this experience with everyone.. I can't imagine ill ever collect anything more special than this item. Thats why I was going bonkers to do everything right. I know I don't have to worry about authenticity but having a witnessed cert along with being PSA authenticated seems like a missed opportunity. Either way, cant do anything about it now. You are right. Plus I have the video of him signing it anyways. I won't give it another thought.

Thats a great idea, especially adding Lorne but if I could just get Jane to sign I would consider this item complete. Anyone extra would be a bonus. Ill give some thought to adding some signatures to the back (front) of this cover
