It's in an odd era of his sigs as his steady decline occured. This doesn't fit perfectly into his 1935 signature. This sig matches later 1930's a bit better.  There is still more of "itler" present during this time ('35). Although it does start to get more scribbly in '35. His sigs are one of the most evident signatures to follow thru time out of almost anyone I look at. His steady mental deterioration is more than obvious presented in his sigs thru the years. 

I don't study Hitler very hard, but it is one I do like to look at.

Thanks for the pictures and the comparison, but I do not see a big difference. What do you think, your own opinion? Real or false? I live in Sweden and do not think there is any expert here. But I will send an email to Alexander Autographs during the evening. /Marcus

It's not a big difference, but it is enough of a difference between the years. 

I am in no position to make a conclusive judgement and I don't even want to guess. 

Sigs like this require expert analysis. And more than likely an in person analysis to be sure.

All I can say is that a few signatures have sold for around $3000 last year at auction.

Take away the buyers premium and possibly the added frenzy factor, and I would say $2000 -$2500 is reasonable. Less if you can make a good deal. 

Would I pay that much for real Hitler sig? Your darn right I would... and be proud to have one.

Wow. Thanks so much. I actually bought it during a time when I had enough money to make a chance. I paid about $ 1000 for it from a guy here in Sweden who, in turn, bought it from Austria. It has since been fun to own it, even though I was never sure it's authentic.

Now I think it's time to sell. Traveling soon to Eastern Europe, maybe I'll take it with me and look around.

Fun that it became a small discussion about it all, I'm obviously subjective in this case but think that all that has historical value will be sold and I am against all censorship. But at the same time when it comes to a private site, the owner will also have to decide, of course. It is his full right that I totally respect.

A note to everyone: We haven't allowed the autographs of Hitler, or other mass murderers, here before, and I am uncomfortable with it, as are other members.

But military autographs are an important part of the autograph field, as are all world leaders—and many were also responsible for killing millions of innocent people. So I am going to allow the discussions, temporarily at least.

Should the discussions be in a private forum or group where they can't bee seen publicly on this site, or even googled? Should they be open for all to search and see?
