Hey,

I bought this Alan Shepard signed and dedicated 8x10' NASA photo. What's your opinion on the signature (sorry, no larger scan available)?

Thanks :)

First American in space.Hello ,it looks off to me. Lets see if Mr Zarelli  gives an opinion.

Looks good to me.
Alan Shepard frequently used secretaries to sign from his early NASA days right through the end of his life. Some secretaries were skilled and did an excellent job imitating Shepard's signature.

Happily, this is not one of them. No doubt authentic in my opinion.

Thanks to Steve for giving his time and expertise!

My pleasure. Prices on Shepard have been very strong lately. Around $200 for personalized and $400+ for unpersonalized. Shepard on the moon pose is very uncommon and becoming commonly forged. You're talking around $1,200 for that pose.

Thanks a lot for your opinion! I got this for about 100 USD, so probably a good deal. ;)

$100 is an excellent deal presuming the lithograph is in good shape.
