I bought several autographs from Alfie back in the early 2000's because he had an excellent reputation.  I have tried to sell these autographs on Ebay, and I have been told that they are forgeries.  I was ignored when I tried to contact him via Facebook concerning these autographs.  I am very upset.  I am the owner of the Clint Eastwood autograph that was discussed on this site earlier this August.  Does anyone have any advice for me?

Keep trying to contact him, get the word about his stuff out there to make sure no one makes the same mistake and move on.

I found his profile on facebook and old myspace images.  If you would like to have this please friend me.

Can you show us all of the autographs you bought?  We've only seen the one, and if I remember correctly, opinions were given on this site by a few people, but I don't believe the buyer of your autograph actually submitted it to be checked if it was real to a Third Party Authenticator, he just returned it instead as some opinions were not good.

Patricia I hope you also don't mind that I changed the title of your discussion to Questions about seller Alfie Petit.  I think that until things are sorted through it isn't fair to call someone a crook.  I'm one of the moderators here.

Wascher.

Thank You Wascher for saying that about Alfie.  One must know the truth before saying that they are dishonest. It isn't fair to me.

Are you a friend of his J?

For the others adding Alfie items, please be sure to list the time frame in which you bought the items.  Alfie had sold his "business" - and it was noted in previous threads, that questionable items started showing up only after he sold.  I have no knowledge of either before or after, so I don't have any information to add to the threads... but I think the above should be noted for the sake of not blaming Alfie himself at this point.

I'm sorry I used the word "crook" in my post; I was very upset when I wrote it.  I have however,  included two other autographs I bought from Mr. Petit.

Thanks Jerry for adding your items and for including the Alfie certificates.  Hopefully someone can help decipher your Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio sigs.

You know you're in trouble when Global says it isn't real.

I'm disappointed in seeing how bad these forgeries look when there were such strong claims in the other thread of Alfie's authenticity.

When someone on here displayed a 4 piece collection of Jack Nicholson signed Joker photographs sold to them by Alfie Petit back in the mid to late 90's, I was skeptical to believe any were authentic. I don't think any of these are real.
