The last emails I received from Alfie was right after Michael Jackson died. He was selling what items he still had.

Was it from Alfie or Mark? If itwas from Alfie, I can tell you he had a TON of good Michael Jackson stuff. I got one 15 years ago, wish I had more now.

If it was from the newer owner, Mark...I would have to see them.

Access Hollywood or one of those shows ran a feature on one of Alfie's encounters with MJ, and somewhere buried in the story was that he signed close to a hundred items for him in one night. Mj was a great signer if you could get to him.

No it was from Alfie. I used to have constant communication with Alfie. Not now though. I was able to get a LOT of good items from him. He always treated people fair and nice.

I always enjoyed his sales newsletters because with Alfie, each item had a personal story attached to it.

Top notch guy.

His stuff was fantastic. I'll bet I have 100 items from him. I agree, he was top notch and the stories were the best.

whatever happened to the kid collector/dealer from new york?  He met everyone and had great stories too.

The new owner sent me some crap that I should have returned...just awful forgeries.

He also kept one of my items for himself, stupid jackass.

I haven't confirmed this, as it was before we bought Autograph Collector, but I was told that Alfie became ill and passed away, which was why he sold his company. I never knew him.

Is that the same Alfie though? I dont know what the man looks like, but i went to that facebook page and really didnt see anything autograph related. Granted i didnt look around too much, but i also didnt really see any pics that i would have expected to see of someone who bumped shoulders with alot of famous people. It also seemed that the facebook page belonged to a younger gentlemen. I got the impression Alfie was an old man, but could be wrong. Their are just so many people with the exact same name out their on facebook, that you just never know unless you are familiar with the persons face.

Yes that's him.  His face was plastered all over his old website back in the day.  Of course he had longer hair then (down to his ears)... but i'm 100% sure that's him.

Alfie lives in Palm Springs- if there are photos of him in drag, it's Alfie.

hilarious yes that would be Alfie. always the chedzoy! i was always surprised when people would not pick up on it. Alfie and I had a few run-ins during the days of getting the celebs at the gates - way before 911 b.s. security, but you would not ever find a more upstanding individual when it came to authenticity (as far as the dealings I was ever involved with or witnessed). what came about after Alfie sold the company i havent a clue but if purchased under his ownership i am sure it is probably good..D
