This is an autograph my mom got back in 1975.  There is also a photo of Hitchcock sitting in his directors chair in San Francisco.  I assume this is when she got it.  Looks like she pulled out the only "piece of paper" she had, but so cool because it captures the year.
What type of value to sell this

This doesn't quite look right to me.  It could be a very rushed example but it still looks a bit off, IMHO.  I certainly appreciate the back story, but if you plan to sell this, I would recommend getting it examined and certified by a reputable TPA.

Thanks.  I'm gunna assume its a rushed signature.  Certainly not a forgery because I've had it for years and my mom told us about it.  All good, thanks for the info

My mistake and apologies - I didn't see the two jpegs.

This is a slowly drawn and shaky, awkward signature - I would avoid it.
