I'm not too sure, but wouldn't feel comfortable with it. The examples I know were not that stretchedly writtten.

The angle of the photograph may be making it look "stretchy."

Compared with the "From the desk of"-part I don't think that is the reason. "Hitchcock" looks less stretched than "Alfred", which in my humble opinion looks atypically stretched. In the examples I know both parts of his name are equally written.
