Hey all, new guy here.  This guitar is going up for auction in a couple weeks.  All of my web searches seem to lead me here so I figured I would get everyones opinion.

Thanks!

Glad you came here! I don't think that has a chance of being signed by the Rolling Stones. They look like pathetic forgeries to me.

Thanks! I'm a complete newb at this sort of thing but the Kieth Richards set off some red flags.  I couldn't find legit or even forgeries that have that big loop in it.

Even if it was a halfway decent forgery you'd have a hard time telling whether it's real or not unless you're an experienced collector. The forgers generally make forgeries look good enough to fool customers who aren't experienced.

dam that's one of the worst fakes ive seen
who signed the pickguard it looks closaer to bruce springteen than a stones member.lol

Thanks guys, I'll be steering clear of this one

Terrible forgery, IMO.  Not even close. And apparently the forger didn’t even know how to spell Mick’s last name as there is no “J”. This is appalling, even for a forgery.

Just a follow up on this for anyone curious.  This guitar sold for $1500 at the auction.

Thanks. I feel bad for the buyer. Where did it sell?
