Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me..I’m need someone to post a good resolution image ,if possible,of the signed remains of the day book..he signed it Stevens then underneath “Tony Hopkins”. I bought a signed letter and thats signed “Tony”, the only other one I can find signed “Tony” instead of “Anthony” is the book... I know he did sign like this for friends..the photo of the book was in autograph collector magazine in feb2008..I’m in the uk so can’t get a copy..there is a low resolution photo on one website but it’s too low a resolution for me to do a comparison. Many thanks to anyone that may be able to help..

the one I bought was a letter Antony sent to a man who works at pinewood studio in the uk in 1994.the guy I bought it off was the one the letter was sent to..he works at the roger Moore office at the film studio...the address for Anthony was correct at the time and the letter is about attending British film day that year...

Here you go, Danny. “Remains of the Day” signed and inscribed by Anthony Hopkins.

That is really nice, signed as Stevens, and a very good movie as well.

Wow that's great.. Thanks very much.. There are some similarities in mine.. Its not exact but was a different time of signing and i guess mine would be neater as it was signed in his office at home.. Its an unusual signing too.

I really appreciate you taking the time to go through your old magazines..have a good day..

That's a nice letter you have there. Definitely signed by Hopkins in my opinion.

I'm happy to have been able to help you.

Steve

Very nice letter!

Thanks..after just doing a quick search I found the Anthony Hopkins theatre room in the town called mold..it’s good that all links add up..

It is nice...and thanks for your opinion..it all adds up with dates addresses  and “mold” which is referred to in the letter for lunch is a town in wales...with Anthony be Welsh I guess he still visited..Gareth Owen whom I bought it off still works with pinewood and written many books on pinewood and James Bond..he’s still at the Moore office..
