Mupplvr, we can't rule out a pre-print, all we have is two examples. The Hopkins photo that you presented sold on ebay for $9.50 and the example Eric provided is from a British magazine company who I know nothing about. The same ebay seller has a Billy Preston signed photo that has bids and ending today. The problem is he sold the same one yesterday for $18.05. I'm afraid to look any further.

Eric, thanks again for the legwork. Are there more examples of these images out there? There not identical, but I'm surprised at how much these two look alike compared to the hundreds of examples out there. This Hopkins signature in question sold for $9.50 on ebay. What are your thoughts?

Maybe these are something he was sending out TTM?

I know he's had a good record of sending legit signatures and handwritten letter/responses to fans TTM, so that's worth noting.

Mr. Steffman, thanks for those examples. My thoughts on the Hopkins in question are-it wouldn't be for me and I would need it in hand to make any decision. I see a red flag at the source which I mentioned earlier.

If it's a real signature when I get it in my hands, I'm happy. I'm satisfied as long as he signed it.

Mupp , please let me know when you get it. I hope I'm wrong and that ends up being a good piece. I just get spooked sometimes and I think its for good reasons.
