Paid for the PSA quick peek and it came back "Likely not authentic" but they don't say why they think that.

If you are referring to Gridiron, no. They continue the same unethical business practices that have kept them in the $. Why change what is working for them. It makes me furious, but until these buyers educate themselves and start to question what they are receiving, this will continue.

That's too bad.  I'm glad you got your money back.  Thanks Steve.

Me too. I hope others take notice and do something before it's too late.

I came across several signatures that I considered giving as gifts this past holiday season but I passed since I didn't know Gridiron's reputation.  I am taking that they are known for selling forgeries?  They have a huge number of sales, and lots of money is involved so it would be appalling if it is true..

They said they conducted a private signing with Rob Gronkowski, so should I still stay away?

Yes stay away. First off this is, in my opinion, a bad attempt at his autograph. What forgers don't know is Gronk does not rush when it comes to his signature, especially at signings.

Second, Gronk has a contract with Sureshot Promotions and New England Picture. I don't believe he is allowed to sign for any other company.

Attached are 2 authentic signed sports illustrated magazines in my collection that I got in person. The black is for sale and comes with an exact proof shot if interested :).

Exact proof for black signed one.

And my personal copy.

All I know is that I would have to look at more than just your two examples.  The reasons I say this is because I do not know Gronk`s signature.  I have never really studied it until now.  I did own a press pass card back in his rookie year.  But I have since sold that.

I wouldn't want to jump into something and just purchase it.   That is part of buying autographs, looking through many examples.

I have never purchased anything from GridironAuthentics.  I have heard they sell forgeries from some.  And some say they are legit.

As much as they sell, it would be nice to know for sure.

One of the biggest problems is that they show you a legit photo in their auction listing, but that is not what is received. If you read back through my posts, you will see indisputable evidence. I have an e-mail directly from the owner of Schwartz Sports stating that barry Sanders never signed for Gridiron. Gridiron of course has their little photo showing Sanders signing an item which could be from anywhere, but Schwartz is the agent and rights owner for Sanders signings. Go ahead and buy a Gronkowski and send it in to PSA or JSA and you will see what happens.
I'm with Steve. I bought a Drew Brees proline helmet about 1 1/2 years ago and the signature was way off when I got it. I card them out on it and was told to submit proof along with the helmet back to them and they would refund me. They received and signed for the delivery yet I NEVER got my refund. After disputing if with my CC company I got my money back 5 months later. Good luck if you but anything from them.

ok.  point taken.  steer clear of gridironauthentics.   guess I need to read through this thread.

Im not challenging anyone's thoughts about them, I just didn't have the time to read through 14 pages to see if they are good or bad.  At first glance they look legitimate but your accounts are enough for me to stay away.  Thanks
