I would appreciate any feedback the members could give me as to whether or not these Eagles autographed items are authentic or not?  I am still licking my wounds from trying to buy an autographed album from eBay, but thankfully I was able to get all of my money back plus they covered the return shipping.  So I don't want to go down that road again.  These are being sold by someone that a friend knows and they knew I was looking for something.

Again, any input, advice, critiques, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

first, I would find it difficult to believe that these musicians would carefully sign in the narrow areas on this album cover.  that would be the first indication something is screwy.  then you have the actual signatures, which are not authentic, in my opinion.  I am referring to the first item.

What about the other two items regarding the signature?  And so I can learn more why do you feel they are not authentic?  I appreciate any input.

I don't think neither of the three are authentic. The biggest give away is Timothy's autograph.

Thank you for the info Bjarne.  What issues do you see with his autograph?  I'd love to have something authentic signed by them to hang in my office, and my Wife wants to get me that for our Anniversary.  But I am at the point with all the forgeries where I might just call it good enough to have a blank album framed with some of the pics from our concert and our tickets.

If you look at my pictures, I have a paper signed by ringo Starr and his all Starr band that I got signed in person. There you will see authentic autographs of Timothy and joe. You might spot the difference in their signatures.

I think all 3 are forgeries also.

Thank you Bjarne.  I can definitely see the difference.  I guess I will just have to go with having a blank album framed as I have no idea where to even begin to buy an authentic Eagles signed or autographed album without paying an arm and a leg.  I don't mind paying around $200 for an unframed album but not sure I am ready to pay $500-600 for one.  Ideally I'd love to meet the guys and have them sign one, but since that isn't going to happen???  If anyone knows of any individuals or trustworthy sites where I can look for authentic reasonable items please feel free to share it with me.

You can buy individually stuff cheaper but generally all four current members together are pretty pricey ( a grand plus for nicely signed stuff). Don Felder has signed photos (25)and did have his signed book on his website. I see a lot of authentic Henley and Walsh out there.

I told my friend what everyone said and they said they understood.  They also said they know someone else from work that is selling the following poster for $200.00.  Any thoughts or comments on it?

The poster looks legit --  Worth at least 400-500 hundred but don't tell that guy at work you are getting a real bargain!  An photo signed by all five (either will Felder or Randy would set you back about at least a grand for an authentic one.

Thanks for the information Bruce.  I went ahead and bought the poster, and once it arrives here I will see if I like it enough to have it framed.  He said it is 18x24 which is the size of the frame I wanted to put it in.  So I wouldn't be able to add any photos, etc. unless I went with a lot bigger frame.  Also my Wife was a bit upset when I told her because she secretly had made plans for our Anniversary to surprise me with an Eagles album framed at Hobby Lobby, along with pics from the concert and a ticket.  If I decide not to keep it I'll give the people on this thread first shot since you have all been so helpful.  Again thank you.

I agree if you don't end up buying this please pass your friend my contact info as I'd buy that poster in a heartbeat
