I recently bought from Skyline Signatures. As I continued my research I found their images on another website selling for $100 higher than their ebay, which also included 'make an offer'

Here are the two sites. Is this dodgy???? I'm really scared I'm being ripped off...

It looks like some pictures are on material that look like a bedspread - white and blue stripes. Exact same pics in both of these:

OK, that's what I thought. Thanks

I didn't realize that a "partnership" has to be in place in order to dropship an item. I was under the impression that an item can in fact be offered for sale without asking the current owner. By the way, you can buy a Jimi Hendrix Experience "signed" guitar that was offered by Antiquities on the Jet.com website, which is owned by Walmart.

Ballroom, you are absolutely correct, anyone can sell something that they don't own, go online buy it from the actual owner and have it shipped to your customer who has already paid.

In the case of hollywoodmemorabilia, I believe they offer their site placement and advertising to sellers with the understanding that they are making items available to a larger market, and the sellers do know that the material is being offered in other venues besides ebay.

Hollywoodmemorabilia makes the difference in the price and the owner/seller knows what they will be getting. The agreed upon price or deal is something they are aware of when partnering with Hm.

Ah, that's very interesting. Thanks for the info.

Thank you so much for your help, great to know how these things work!
