Ariana Grande forgery from her own website?? NEED HELP!

Hello,

About two years ago Ariana Grande released her album Dangerous Woman. During the pre-order time she sold “autographed” postcards for like 99¢ so I bought a few as well as my friends did too. I sent one of my autographs to PSA/DNA and it came back fake! I was just wondering if you think they’re Fake or just sloppy because I wouldn’t expect a fake autograph directly from the artists website. Any help i greatly appreciate!

P.S. I only sent ONE to PSA/DNA the bottom right one also she did post photos on Instagram and Snapchat signing them!

I don’t know anything about Ariana Grande’s autograph, but I understand your sentiments.  You would think if it came directly from her website that it would be real.  However, as have many celebrities done in the past, Ariana may have had someone else sign many of these postcards for her, in which case they would be deemed non-malicious secretarial autographs.

‘Just like in baseball with “clubhouse” autographs, someone else does the signing and attempts to make the autograph look, relatively speaking, authentic.  Both the actual signer and the celebrity kind of think it’s no big deal because the fan will believe that the autograph is real, thus making the fan happy and saving the celeb time.  But we fans take our autograph collecting very seriously.  We don’t want secretarials or autopen autographs.  We want the real deal.  So if we find out the autograph was signed by an employee of the Star and not the star herself, we are very disappointed.

But there is also the very real possibility that PSA/DNA got it wrong, and the autograph is real.

Do you think I’m most cases when the autograph is being sold or is included with a meet and greet bundle it is usually authentic? Demi Lovato was selling autographed CDs, Posters, and records the cd and poster were autopen but the record was real

I don’t know for sure.  I would think that in such a personal format as the meet-and-greet, that the autographs would be real.  But nothing surprises me.  Take a John F. Kennedy signed photo for example.  People who collect JFK know that the majority (don’t know by how much) of JFK autographs are secretarial.  But what about a signed and inscribed photo given to a US Senator?  One would think that JFK would have signed that himself.  But even that was not always the case.  Sometimes even senators got secretarial autographs.

How did you find out that Lovato’s posters and cds were autopen, but records were real?

For the Demi Lovato my friend and I ordered two posters and two cds each and they were all exactly the same signature but after multiple complaints the records got delayed the records all have different signatures I didn’t send mine into PSA/DNA but other people did and they came back real!

Oh that’s awesome!  Well, at least it’s good to know that she listened to her fans.  To me that says a lot for her character.

Just curious...do you like Avril Lavigne?  I know she hasn’t released an album for a while, although I think she will within the next year.  I bought two CDs signed by her in the last few months.  I know they’re real because I studied her autograph quite a bit.

Oh...and no offense taken if you’re not an Avril fan.  Her style is obviously a lot different from Lovato or Bieber.  I don’t know why I even brought it up, although she and Seth MacFarlane are my latest two autograph purchases.

Yeah I mean I like her she isn’t exactly my #1 go to person but I like her

I would definitely be interested in seeing them

Here one of my Avril’s.

Here’s the other one.  Same CD.  The autographs are a bit different, but both are authentic.

Those Ariana Grande postcards are all real. PSA doesn't know what they're talking about.

If that had been sent in by one of their big clients, it would have passed.  I’m certain of that.
