I was wondering if anyone has an opinion about Authentic Autographs Unlimited and Drew Max.  I have seen some people imply that he is shady.  I recently purchased a signed album that he authenticated.

Hi Jim,

Ive heard the same through different articles and topics ive read. I know he does, or at least used too, do some work with the pawn stars guys out west, and their were some comments about an item he authenticated on air that was no good. Aside from that ive heard some other not so flattering things about him as ive looked around, but their is definetly some good stuff he has authenticated too. So i wouldnt loose hope, if you could post a pic of the album im sure youll get some great opinions from the more experienced guys on here and they know what their doing for sure.

AAU/Drew Max is a step above Chris Morales...a baby step.

Good or bad he at least is willing to put his rep on the line on Tv in front of millions...

Take a pic or a scan of the album and let us judge the autographs. I have little to no faith in Drew Max. The fact that he puts his face on television means nothing to me.

Unfortunately he doesn't have a good reputation in the hobby for good reason. Another one of those rubber stamp forensic authenticators.
