I have seen in a couple of different links here that there might have been a problem with Autograph World.  A well known collector said that they had to fire one of their guys for passing them loads of bad stuff.

I recently saw that they had uploaded thousands of their items to StarTiger years ago.  Some of the autographs don't looks right to me.  Some of the autographs are listed on their website in the history section but a lot aren't. StarTiger confirmed that it was there account years ago but that they no longer blog. I was wondering what others thought.  I will post photos for your opinion.

A couple more

I don't like the Bowie, but I don't know the others well enough to comment. I still believe that overall, they're your best bet for a "big box" autograph site. But everyone, EVERYONE makes mistakes; and they have the biggest inventory around. I got a joey Lauren Adams from them that didn't look right. They admitted to a mixup (it seems like they were tricked by someone managing her or a convntion), and they are in the process of getting me a replacement. Otherwise, I've bought literally hundreds of items from them, much more expensive than JLA) and I've always been happy.

I believe the key is to never blind buy from anyone. ALWAYS compare to exemplars.

I have bought from them on numerous occasions and I have never had a problem.

Some of these I know are bad because I have obtained them in person and these do not look good. The Charmed, Aniston, Jolie, Ryder, Depp and Arnold all look bad to me. That's my opinion.

I'm telling you, the more I look at these images, the more they don't look like anything AW offers. Are you sure those images and the source is legit? Even if you go in the research section of AW and look up things they've offered in the past, nothing looks this horrible.

Someone should question Star Tiger. maybe they are using AW as a shield or using their name to move merchandise. I always found AW to be ok, but these Star Tiger's are not. I don't see them as one and the same. What does Star Tiger.com by autographworld mean? Is there any way to look at the back of the photos, because AW has a distinguishable sticker on the back of their items?

The only ones I'm familiar with are Depp, Bowie, Clapton, and Jolie, and all are horrible. Really horrible. I agree with JXE and James Lafaman that these items are nothing like AW has ever offered. I mean, damn these are horrible.

Hi. We have never uploaded anything to StarTiger.  The items in question were not sold by us.  Hope that clears things up.
