First time post, long time lurker

finally joined the boards so I could share this.

Axl Rose graphic novel with a bunch of swag. Need to get Tier 5 to get the autograph.  A little pricey but I haven’t seen a Axl here before. Maybe there has been one.

And one silver which is 151.

Just been messaging them to clarify about this. This was their response…

Then I asked if we can see the photo/video confirmation…

We will see what JSA says.  Have some doubts here.

This is an interesting reply because according to someone on GNR Reddit, the company posted a video of him signing some of these but it’s since been deleted. I didn’t see a video of this myself but someone put a screenshot in the Reddit thread.

Thats weird if the company that sold these posted the video then deleted it. There had to be some reason to delete it. 🤔 edit: just seen now where it says they need approval to post the video, so maybe it was taken down due to not having approval? Still odd.

Same pic Morrison posted on page 17, someone had watermarked the one Morrison posted, maybe contact whoever watermarked it and see if they have the full video? That's the one that looked like hes holding a silver sharpie... but I could be wrong.

The company that sold these is likely not going to admit anything might be fake. Thats happened with almost any signed stuff that comes up being fake. Ppl figure out its fake, then the company denies it. They don't want to deal with losing tens of thousands of dollars, and dealing with all those returns. Could put the business under if theyre small. Idk anything about them other than this release.

Also seems like the company lurks these forums. They probably lurk the reddit too.

is that a European plug wall outlet? looks like it. That's a good sign and fits with timing unless they are going out of the way to stage him NOT signing a bunch of these cards placed in front of him lol.. that would be a bit ridiculous

Yes it looks like it

edited my first comment above to add more. I think thats a good sign. would be really weird if he was put in that position only to not sign anything. still could be a mix with different pens and placement but they all look pretty similar. so far I think the same person signed all of these.

Some ppl said the silver ones were real and black looked like his manager or assistant... if thats the case, they'd likely just switch seats imo... They'd still have to set up a table and put all the cards out to sign. Have him sign half, or 50 or 20, or till he got sick of doing it... then he gets up, and manager sits down and takes over and finishes the job. That would be the reasonable way of doing it, I'd think... but obviously no way any of us will know for sure what happened. I've seen so many videos of a celeb sitting down "signing" a stack of cd covers, or prints, they sign 5 of them on video, then everyone gets fake autographs who bought them...

Maybe I'm just a cynic, but I've seen too many staged pics of celebs sitting by stacks of whatever to sign, and then fans end up getting fake autographs (or most of them do) to trust any of these pics 100%.

Sucks that many of the photos are so blurry, so its hard to compare, but I still notice the loop on the L some are round and some are more triangle/sharp. Ive never sat down and signed 100s of items so I can't say you wouldn't change your signature over that time, but when I sign the loops don't really change, and I could sign my name with my eyes closed and it would still look the same. The change of placement seems a bit weird unless maybe he did them in different sittings... I don't see why someone would randomly change where they sign mid session.

Also doesn't help the mixed messaging from Grad... Definitely need more professional opinions.

Noticed some have the little dash on the end while others dont, not that kt makes a difference really, maybe he just got tired and stopped doing the dash. 🤷

I agree with you and all the points you make.. its great everyone is being careful. I never made this purchase and have an unbiased opinion. To me, the black marker signatures look different because its a thinner marker

I have a full Axl signature with a -91- inscription. It was a purchase a few years ago. After a ton of research I was 99% sure it was real, that 1% still ate away at me. I wanted a second set of eyes and had PSA authenticate it. I figured they would catch something I might not be able to with their vast database. They said it was good.

That said, from what I know based on my research, I believe these are all real. Im not an expert though. I just went crazy for a brief period until I had enough info for my own autograph.. This is just a fun prediction. It doesn't affect me at all but I do hope for the best outcome for everyone. Regardless of whatever im saying, you could be seeing something im totally missing. I just feel that all of these have authentic traits regardless of small inconsistencies.

No matter what, its great that this is bringing everyone together as a group working together on this and I love it. For now, im taking the side that these are all the same hand and real.

Authenticators are always weird at first. Elton cds weren't passing at first, then all of a sudden they were deemed authentic. Even the Gwen Stefani Bouquet cd and vinyl art cards. I think the community mostly still thinks those are secretarial. Authenticators refused to pass them for a long time. Now they are. Flip flops seem to be a common occurrence early on waiting for authenticators to get their info updated or whatever.

we need a side by side comparison
