Babe Ruth personalized, non-official baseball sells for $12,000

Well, $11,999.95 to be exact. I was a little surprised (the ball is nice, though I have seen even bolder authentic Ruth's) by this but glad nonetheless, since I too have a nice personalized Ruth.

The ball didn't sell for $12,000. It was relisted:

Steve, I think it's showing that it sold on July 4, but then it was relisted on July 7. I'm guessing either the buyer couldn't come up with the funds or realized he was paying way too much and backed out.
