Hi all...

I have a Ted Williams & Joe DiMaggio duel signed baseball that I need a COA on. What authentication service should I go too? I was going to use PSA/DNA, but after reading the recent posts I'm concerned! Any ideas?? Thanks!

John, I'll tell you one of the main reasons why they flourish: Buyers!!!

If buyers weren't so gullible, sellers of forgeries would not be able to stay in business. I have always taken a hard-line against buyers when it comes to the sales of forgeries.

I've been investigating sellers of forgeries for years and it is my opinion that buyers are the main reason why sellers of forgeries stay in business.

I can't believe the number of people who believe that just because an autograph item is on Ebay that it must be authentic. Years ago, before "they" were booted off Ebay, a seller on Ebay sold approximately $750,000 worth of forgeries. The forgeries were all signed guitars and drum heads. And that was only one seller.

Think about that; $750,000 in forgeries that buyers purchased. How do I know that? Before that seller was kicked off Ebay, I totaled every sale that I could view.

Hey john after seeing those other images on those sight I am now certain unfortunately there all forgeries...its a real shame...but all 3 are bad check out these links...these are fakes as well...notice the style on the Dimaggio...Mantles and Williams...all poor forgeries

Wow that really sucks! So the case i have the ball in is worth more than the ball!!! The forgeries look very similar too! Probably done by the same person, just another example of why you don't buy anything unless it's got a recognizable COA. I wonder how many COA are forged too?? You've been a great help... So I wonder if there is a market for baseballs that are not authentically signed??
